The Nikkei Sangyo newspaper article of July 18, 2007 says “Nichia accelerates 150lm/W white LED production”. We clarify this article as follows.

150lm/W white LED means low-current type which were announced in December 2006. And it is not the high-current type which is used for automotive headlights.

By the end of 2007 would be the Nichia’s target MP start schedule for the low-current type of 150lm/W white LED.
